Our Legacy

factory tracks by marc peters

Marc Peters’ journey in motocross began at the age of 10, when he started racing across the country, growing up in Southern California and competing on iconic tracks like Saddleback Park, Carlsbad, Ascot, Indian Dunes, and Perris Raceway. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a top Pro-Am racer before turning professional in 1987, riding for Noleen Yamaha. His career took him all over the world, racing in prestigious events in countries such as England, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, the Middle East, Mexico, and Colombia, among others.

In the early 1990s, Marc’s family took over Glen Helen Raceway in Southern California, where he played a key role in building the 1992 Glen Helen Grand Prix. Balancing his time between racing full-time and helping to build and maintain the track, he became instrumental in shaping race parks across the region. By 1996, motocross legends Jeff Emig and Jeremy McGrath called on Marc to assist with their Supercross tracks, all while he continued competing at a high level.

In 1997, Marc began constructing the Kawasaki factory track in Corona, California, marking the beginning of his extensive work building tracks for major brands like Suzuki, Yamaha, KTM, and Honda. His expertise expanded as he traveled with MX Sports, creating and maintaining professional and amateur race tracks across the United States. Over the last 25 years, Marc has developed a reputation for building race track parks from scratch, with an eye for turning any piece of land into a rider’s dream. Since we’ve started building factory race team Supercross and Motocross tracks we’ve worked with the best racers in the world to perfect their skills on the ever changing obstacles that sport keeps coming up with. Since 1997, Marc and his team have worked with great teams and the top professional racers every day. These Riders help the process by providing feedback to make the tracks race ready for them to train every day.

Today, Marc continues to work closely with racers, manufacturers, and emerging companies like GasGas, Ducati, and Beta, bringing cutting-edge tracks to life. As he looks ahead to the future, Marc and his team remain at the forefront of track design, creating world-class facilities where both professional and amateur riders hone their skills.
